Following the election in November, whoever ends up serving the district on the board will be tasked with ensuring that the district continues to operate at the high levels that have become the norm at Colonial School District, with Plymouth Whitemarsh High School recently ranked among the top 1,000 high schools in the country by both U.S. News and World Report and Newsweek. Earlier this year, Ridge Park Elementary School was recognized as a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education for exceptional student achievement.

Coun Hill added: “I am very concerned because parents are being put through the mill and have been kept waiting and she is putting her interests ahead of the children and the parents at Charles Read. She wants these chilren to go to St Hugh’s. Parents are getting more and more agitated and they are worried about the future of their children and are getting very nervous.

The radical nationalist Jobbik stood in this group at 7 percent, and the non-parliamentary E14-PM electoral alliance of ex-premier Gordon Bajnai at 3 percent, below the parliamentary threshold. Green LMP scored 2 percent and the leftist Democratic Coalition DK 1 percent.
